Vessel Rules & Terms

  • Luna Moon has a zero-tolerance policy for drug or substance use.
  • Luna Moon is a dry vessel, meaning there is no alcohol allowed onboard.
  • Luna Moon is a smoke-free vessel, no smoking onboard.
  • Interns are not permitted to consume any substances that will hinder their ability to remain safe and perform their duties onboard (for example: sleeping tablets).
  • Interns are to follow the captain’s orders at all times.
  • Interns are to follow the safety protocols provided at all times.
  • All meals are provided onboard for the duration of the internship.
  • Interns are to provide their own sailing gloves and a personal safety light.
  • All fees are payable prior to boarding.
  • The cost does not include flights, transfers, or visa fees.
  • Interns should have their own medical/travel/accident insurance.
  • Interns hereby waive any right to hold the vessel owners, captain, and crew liable for any losses or damages.
  • All voyage schedules are weather dependent. Safety of the vessel and all aboard her are paramount.
